Ortus Recruitment are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tooting who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. The school has a strong focus on supporting pupils with Autism and ADHD, and they are looking for someone with previous experience working with children or supporting Special Educational Needs.

Responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN
• Supporting students with emotional regulation and learning development
• Assisting the class teacher with tailored learning activities
• Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement

Requirements:

• Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work, care or similar)
• OR experience supporting individuals with SEN
• Calm, patient and proactive attitude
• Available for an immediate start with no notice period
