A primary school in South Norwood is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Reception pupil with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). This role is ideal for someone calm, nurturing, and experienced in early years or SEN support.

The Role:

• One-to-one support for a Reception pupil with ASC.
• Assist with early communication and interaction skills.
• Use visual timetables and sensory-based learning tools.
• Encourage independence and confidence during play-based activities.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team.

About You:

• Experience supporting children with ASC, ideally in EYFS.
• Knowledge of early communication strategies such as PECS.
• Patient, nurturing, and adaptable personality.
• Positive and proactive approach to supporting learning.
