A welcoming primary school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with Autism, helping them develop their communication and social skills in a structured environment.

The Role:

• Provide one-to-one support for a Year 3 pupil with Autism.
• Implement visual schedules, social stories, and sensory strategies.
• Support emotional regulation and encourage positive interactions.
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and SEN specialists.
• Adapt learning tasks to meet the child’s needs.

About You:

• Experience working with children with Autism.
• Knowledge of communication strategies such as PECS or Makaton.
• Patient, nurturing, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
