If you are an individual who has previous experience working with children and are keen on helping those with additional needs, then this role is perfect for you.

This two form entry school in Banstead is graded “outstanding” by Ofsted and offers amazing facilities and a great group of staff who are all very passionate about providing a homely feel in the school and a great experience for the children.

The role will involve working very closely with a child who has SEN, supporting them throughout the year to help develop their academic abilities and monitoring their wellbeing.

Previous experience working with children who have additional needs is desirable. However if you do not have this the school would consider those who are affectionate and enthusiastic about helping others.

Although you will prioritise working with a child with additional needs you will also need to aid any other students that require your assistance during lessons. The lessons will be planned by the class teacher and they will value any input you would like to provide to ensure the best interactive lessons are delivered to the children.

In order to apply for this role, you will need to have an enhanced DBS on the update service and be able to provide two references. The role is full time from Monday to Friday from approximately 8:30am to 4pm.
