Ortus Recruitment is excited to announce an opportunity for a graduate who has studied within the field of education, psychology or other relevant subjects to take on the fulfilling role of SEN Teaching Assistant in a lovely, inclusive Primary School.

This Teaching Assistant role will also involve the opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis with children with Additional Needs and lead maths and literacy interventions with small groups.

The successful candidate will:

• Have knowledge of the curriculum and be confident delivering lessons/interventions
• Be proactive, flexible and patient
• Be confident and comfortable supporting on a 1:1 basis or in small groups of children with additional needs
• Must be available full-time and long-term
• Have a minimum 2:2 grade in relevant degree e.g. psychology or educational studies
