Ortus Recruitment are currently looking for an individual who is looking for a role within the education sector. The role will be working as a SEN Teaching Assistant within a KS2 class at a local mainstream school.

To apply for this role, you will need to be passionate about helping others and pay close attention to detail. There are many responsibilities that this role has including: working closely with a student who has additional needs and tracking their progress throughout the year, helping the teacher organise lessons for the class, providing support to other students if they need it and being a valued member of the school community. This role is from Monday-Friday so only apply if you are available for full time work.

Previous experience with children in a work setting will be required however if you don’t have experience with SEN then you can still be considered if you are willing to learn and have a positive attitude. You will also need to have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service and be able to provide two references.
