Salary: £19,000 – £23,000 per annum (depending on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Croydon is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who need additional support to thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including those with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, or other learning difficulties
• Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions
• Support pupils with emotional regulation, social skills, and behaviour management
• Work collaboratively with the SENCO and external professionals to support individual learning plans (EHCPs)
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children with SEN (school-based preferred)
• A relevant qualification such as Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A calm, caring, and patient approach
• A genuine commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
