SEN Teaching Assistant – Croydon – Immediate Start – £80-£90 per day PAYE

This wonderful KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant opportunity would be perfect for someone who has experience working with children of the primary age range, or a recent graduate who is looking to kickstart their career within the education sector.

A primary school in West Croydon are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant, to support children with ASC in their year 5 class. This role is an ongoing role, with an immediate start, with the views of becoming permanent for the right candidate!

Role Brief:

• Working 1:1 with pupils who have ASC
• Supporting the class teacher plan and prepare lessons
• Encouraging pupils to interact well with each other
• Reporting and tracking pupils progress with SLT
• Creating activities to help identified pupils stay on task and engaged

Candidate Specification:

• Experience working within a classroom setting or with children of the primary age range
• SEN experience
• Bubbly and enthusiastic
• Willing to commit to a long-term role
• Hold a fully enhanced DBS
• Provide recent and relevant references
• Provide right to work in the UK
