We are currently working with a supportive and inclusive school in Ealing that is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to support pupils with additional needs and make a meaningful impact on their educational journey.
The Role:
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
- Support children with ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties
- Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities
- Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
- Support pupils with social and emotional development
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with SEN (school-based experience preferred)
- Understanding of ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs
- Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
- Strong communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO and parents
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential
This role would suit experienced Teaching Assistants, psychology graduates, support workers, or individuals looking to build a career within education and SEN support.
