Ortus Recruitment are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming partnered mainstream primary school to support the pupils in their education and to ensure they feel safe at all times. Pupil who attend the school come from a range of backgrounds and cultures and their needs are diverse. Behaviour for learning is outstanding, resulting in a positive and fulfilling work experience. Our partnered schools ideal candidate will be a Graduate with some Teaching Assistant experience, ​however we welcome applicants with degrees of core subjects or relevant qualifications for working with children.

This role is :

• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• PAYE – £80-£90
• Location : Hampton Wick

What will your job role include

• Work 1:1 with students supporting them with numeracy, literacy and reading skills.
• Create an interesting environment for the children to learn and play in.
• Keep record of the children progress and highlight areas they need to improve in.
• Ensure the children’s social, physical and emotional welfare is being looked after
