We are working with a Mainstream Primary School who are looking for someone to come in and join their fantastic staff team as an SEN Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will be working alongside the Class Teacher supporting a Year 3 resource based class which has 8 pupils with a range of different mild special educational needs.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A clear Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment – £52
• Two obtainable childcare relevant references
• A minimum Grade C in GCSE English and Math

SEN Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Be passionate about working with children and dedicated to developing their social and emotional skills
• Have 3-6 months classroom experience
• Be proactive and adaptable
• Have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as following instructions from the class teacher effectively
• Have an enthusiasm and passion about working with children who have special educational needs
