Ortus Recruitment are working with a bright and friendly mainstream Primary School located near Finchley London. The school are looking for a proactive and confident Teaching Assistant to join their specialist team, supporting pupils with SEND and low attainment, as well as supporting the class as a whole in a general capacity.

The role requires an individual who is compassionate, flexible and reliable, in order to effectively support pupils on a one-to-one basis, encouraging them to engage with classroom activities, peers and overcome social emotional barriers.

**This role has the potential to turn permanent, as well as secure Teacher training!**

Candidates must:

– Have a Level 3 Qualification i.e. Teaching/ Psychology degree

– Be compassionate, reliable and proactive

– Have prior experience with SEN (desirable)

– Have 3-6 months classroom experience

– Have the right to work in the UK

– Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service/ willing to apply for a new one
