The role:

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location: Merton Abbey
• Full time-long term
• September start
• PAYE (£80-£90)
• Monday-Friday

Within this role you will be working closely with students who have learning difficulties, and you will be supporting them within the classroom and outside the classroom, ensuring they are safe at all times. You will also be responsible for supporting the class teacher when planning lessons and manging the class behaviour.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A fully enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52).
• A nurturing and caring approach towards children
• Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
• Experience working with SEN
• Able to commute to the school
