SEN Teaching Assistant| Merton | Ful time – long term | Immediate start| PAYE – (£80-£90)

Are you a highly motivated individual with experience working with SEN ? Are you ready to make a difference in education within a mainstream primary school ? If so we have the perfect opportunity for you!

This role includes working 1:1 with students with special educational needs, supporting them with their reading, writing and numeracy skills. You will be responsible for ensuring the students are keeping on task and understanding the lesson, while making sure they are having fun. Furthermore, you should encourage them to participate in class and interact with their peers which can help build up their self-esteem.

To be successful in this role you will need :

  • Extensive experience working with children with SEN, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities
  • The ability to work effectively within a team and independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • A minimum of a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent

This is a full time – long term position, where you will be working Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4pm, with an hour lunch.
