Key Responsibilities:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant at Ortus Recruitment in Merton, you will:

• Personal Development: Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Prior Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly with SEN students, is highly desirable.
• Passion for Education: A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their individual development.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
• Emotional Resilience: Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential qualities.

• DBS Check: Willingness to undergo a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) as required for this role.
