A school located, within Merton borough, are seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant with experience in SEN, and committed to make a positive impact in primary education. This is a full time – long term job role, 8:30 am – 16:00pm, with an hour lunch break.

The school is Ofsted rated ‘good’ and has a welcoming community feel and the supportive SLT have created a truly wonderful atmosphere in which pupils and staff alike feel comfortable to work and learn.

What will the job role include :

• Prepare learning materials
• Adapt teaching support according to student’s needs
• Look after children’s physical, social and emotional welfare
• Create an interesting environment for students
• Keep records and attend review meetings

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of working with children/ young people
• Excellent interpersonal skills based on effective communication
• Passion to ensure every child succeeds and reaches their full potential
• Will show commitment to enhancing the school’s spiritual ethos
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school
