SEN Teaching Assistant | Rayners Lane | Immediate Start

Ortus Recruitment are seeking an SEN experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN and low attainment on a one-to-one basis, within the class.

The school has roles throughout KS1 and KS2 available.

This is a full-time position with an Immediate start, with the potential to secure a permanent role, as well as future Teacher training

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with SEN pupils
• Have a compassionate and confident nature
• Be passionate about working with children
• Have a strong academic background

Role Specification:

• Working one-to-one with SEN pupils
• Supporting pupils on a small group basis
• Leading interventions with low attainment level pupils
• Full-time, Mon-Fri
• £70 – £85 PAYE per day

Role Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching qualification, i.e, CACHE level 3 / equivalent
• Provide 2 references
• Provide proof of right to work in the UK
• Have an enhanced DBS on the update service OR be willing to apply for one
• Have 3-6 Months of classroom experience (desirable)
