Ortus Recruitment are working with a fantastic mainstream primary school located in Raynes Park and they are recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to commit to a full time – long term role. If you apply for this role you should have more than a years’ experience working with children in a professional setting, specifically SEN children and you will need a fully enhanced DBS which is on the update service.

Within this role you will be working closely with a year 3 student who has ADHD, supporting them inside and outside the classroom. Your main responsibility will be to find creative ways to teach the lessons, where the student is able to understand and stay engaged. You will also be responsible for taking the student on movement breaks and ensuring they are safe at all times.

• Excellent time management and attendance
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience working with children in a primary school setting or general experience working with children
