A high achieving Primary School are seeking a confident and experienced or Graduate Teaching Assistant to support a year 4 pupil with ASD – Autism.

The role will require a confident and empathetic individual who can provide continuity to this pupil. The successful candidate will start immediately and must be willing to commit for the rest of the academic year.

The pupil is already making excellent progress this academic year with the majority of the support taking place in class however, the school are keen to find an individual who is confident as the pupil can be challenging so the Teaching Assistant must be able to adapt to this pupils’ learning abilities and implement key changes in order for this pupil to continue to achieve.

The school which is based in the thriving borough of Richmond is keen to interview individuals immediately.

There is currently an excellent team of graduate Teaching Assistants who are allocated to pupils on a 1:1 basis but also working closely with the class Teacher providing additional support and having the opportunity to take part in extracurricular activities.

You must:

• Hold right to work in the UK
• Hold a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service – if you do not possess a current DBS you will have to apply (we can help guide you through the process if necessary)
• Provide recent and relevant references
• Be available full-time
