Ortus Recruitment are looking to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to commit to a full time – long term, to help children with Autism and ADHD, in their academic studies. The ideal candidate will have more than a years’ experience working children, specifically SEN, in a professional setting.

The role :

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location : Richmond
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• 8:30am-4:00pm

Within this role you will be working 1:1 with a year 4 student who has mild autism. Your role will be to support this student inside and outside the classroom, ensuring they stay focused and breaking down the lessons if they have difficulties understanding. You will also be responsible for making sure their physical, social and emotional needs are being met throughout the day.
