A well-respected SEN school in South Norwood is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who require tailored learning support.

The Role:

You will work closely with teachers and therapists to help children with SLD access education in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group support to pupils with severe learning difficulties.
• Assist in delivering creative, multi-sensory lessons tailored to different learning styles.
• Support pupils with basic communication skills and assistive technology.
• Help with personal care and mobility needs as required.
• Maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment.

About You:

• Experience working with children with SLD is preferred but not essential.
• A caring and adaptable approach to SEN education.
• Ability to use alternative communication methods (training provided).
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
