A mainstream primary school, in South Wimbledon, are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant, ready to gain valuable experience working in the teaching industry and wants to make a positive impact in primary education.

The role :

• Position : SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location : South Wimbledon
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• £80-£90, per day
• 8:30am-4:00pm (hour lunch)

Within this role you will be working with children 1:1 or in small groups with children who have special educational needs such as ADHD and mild Autism, supporting them with their academic studies, at break and lunch. You will also be responsible for making sure the student are staying concentrated in lessons and helping the class teacher manage their behaviour.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN, in a professional setting and has a caring approach towards children. You will also need to ensure that you have full time – long term availability seen as this is a permanent role, Furthermore, you will need a DBS on the update service or willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52).
