Ortus Recruitment are working with a mainstream primary school in Surbiton and they are looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to commit to a full time – long term role as an SEN Teaching Assistant. This role requires more than a years’ experience working with SEN children in a professional setting.

The role :

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location: Surbiton
• Full time – long term
• 8:30am- 4:00pm (Monday-Friday)
• PAYE £80-£90

The successful candidate will have :

• Be assertive, patient and motivating
• Manage behaviour effectively
• Promote positive social, emotional and personal development
• Have experience working with children with SEN
• Have a strong academic background – Level 3 qualified or Degree educated
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
