The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant – Sutton

There will be times when you will have to work both inside and outside the classroom as part of your role as a SEN teaching assistant. You will be working one-on-one with a child in this role, and you will be supporting them in a variety of ways. Moreover, you will also be working with other children who may have similar needs to those that you are working with, in addition to those that you are working with now. As a Special Education Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting small groups of children who are lower able and need an extra bit of support in their academic studies due to their lower ability. You may be required to provide interventions outside the classroom as part of your role as an assistant teacher for students with special needs. In addition to participating in classroom activities, you will also be able to assist with daily tasks in the classroom with the help of your teacher. To be considered for the position of this SEN Teaching Assistant role it would be ideal if the candidate had experience working with children with Special Educational Needs, showed passion, drive, and commitment, and was passionate about working with children with Special Educational Needs.

Role Summary:

– PAYE Payments – £80-£100 per day

– SEN Teaching Assistant

– Sutton

– Year 3 Class

– Full-time, long-term role
