Salary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

A welcoming primary school in Thornton Heath is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a Year 5 classroom, supporting students with mild learning difficulties and additional needs.
The Role:
- Provide in-class support for Year 5 students requiring additional help with literacy and numeracy.
- Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs and abilities.
- Support small groups and one-to-one interventions to reinforce learning objectives.
- Help with classroom organisation and ensure students remain engaged in lessons.
- Work closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement effective learning strategies.
About You:
- Experience supporting children with additional needs is desirable.
- A patient, encouraging, and flexible approach to learning support.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build positive relationships with students.
