Ortus Recruitment are working with a fantastic mainstream primary school in Twickenham and they are recruiting a motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to commit to a full time-long term role. The ideal candidate should have more than a years’ experience working with children in a professional setting, specifically SEN children.

The role :

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location: Twickenham
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• 8:30am-4:00pm (hour lunch break)

Within this role you will be:

• Support children’s’ learning through play and planned learning activities
• Support pupils in their social development and their emotional well-being, reporting problems to the teacher as appropriate
• Support pupils to understand instructions, support independent learning and inclusion of all pupils;
• Maintain of a clean, safe and tidy learning environment;

Requirements

• Fully enhanced DBS or willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52)
• More than a years’ experience working with children, specifically SEN
• Able to commute
• Ability to be reliable, proactive and dedicated
