SEN Teaching Assistant | West Drayton
Ortus Recruitment are working with a successful and friendly mainstream Primary School in Hayes. The school are looking for a proactive and confident Teaching Assistant to join their specialist team, supporting pupils with SEND and low attainment, as well as supporting the class as a whole in a general capacity.
The role requires an individual who is compassionate, flexible and reliable, in order to effectively support pupils on a one-to-one basis, encouraging them to engage with classroom activities, peers and overcome social emotional barriers.
This role has the potential to turn permanent, as well as undertake Teacher training!

SEN TA Candidates must:
– Have a Level 3 Qualification i.e. Teaching/ Psychology degree
– Be compassionate, reliable and proactive
– Have prior experience with SEN
– Have 3-6 months classroom experience
– Have the right to work in the UK
– 2 References
– Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service/ willing to apply for a new one
