Ortus Recruitment are working with a fantastic mainstream primary school located in Wimbledon, and they are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a positive impact in primary education by committing to a full time – long term role.

The role:

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location: Wimbledon
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Working 1:1 or in small groups with students who have learning difficulties, ensuring they are being supported inside and outside the classroom.
• Liaising with teachers and parents by giving them feedback on the student’s progression.
• Supporting students at break and lunch, ensuring their emotional, physical ad social welfare is being looked after.
• Recording the pupils progress and highlighting the areas they need to improve on.
