The role:

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant role
• Location: Worcester Park
• Full time-long term
• PAYE £80-£90
• Immediate start
• Monday-Friday

Responsibilities:

• Look after the children’s emotional, physical, social and mental welfare
• Keep records of students progress and attend review meetings
• Set up and tidy classroom for lessons
• Look after children who are upset and unwell
• Supervise pupils during lunch and breaks

Skills:

• Sensitivity and understanding.
• Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• To enjoy working with other people.
• To be flexible and open to change.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of teaching and the ability to design courses.
• The ability to understand people’s reactions.
