Ortus Recruitment is looking to recruit an assertive and confident Teaching Assistant, to support in a Year 6 class. The ideal candidate will work on a 1:1 basis with a child that has global delay and will need to support the child to raise attainment. The TA will also lead numeracy and literacy interventions with children in the preparation for SATs.

The IDEAL Teaching Assistant MUST:

• have 3+ months experience supporting children in UKS2
• have experience working with children with additional needs
• have strong numeracy/literacy skills
• have adept knowledge of the UKS2 curriculum
• be able to provide: an enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one through Ortus Recruitment), proof of Right to Work in the UK and 2 references
