The Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons. You will work closely with individual students and small groups, providing them with the additional support they need to reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the class teacher in planning and preparing lessons.
- Providing one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
- Supporting students with their classwork and helping them to develop key skills.
- Assisting with the supervision of students during lessons, breaks, and extracurricular activities.
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and helping them to succeed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A patient and empathetic approach to working with students with diverse needs.
- A relevant qualification in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).
