SENCo (Senior Leadership Team)

Ortus Recruitment are looking for a SENCO to join our partnered mainstream primary school based in Streatham, to lead and coordinate the support for a diverse group of vulnerable students, helping them to reach their full potential and achieve their aspirations.

Ortus Recruitment are keen to find the right candidate for this important role and are happy to offer flexible working arrangements that suit you. This position is a part-time role (three days per week) in a 4-from entry Primary School. We’re ideally looking for someone who can start as soon as possible but can agree a start date up to September if needed.

Qualifications:

• University graduate (Good Honours degree)
• Postgraduate teaching qualification
• NASENCO qualification

Experience:

• SEN experience in a primary or secondary school
• Evidence of successful teaching experience
• Evidence of pastoral experience
• Experience of working with key stakeholders such as parents, governors, employers etc
• Experience in annual reviews and EHCP applications
