Special Needs 1:1 Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Primary School Teaching Assistant to work at an outstanding SEN Primary School in Hayes.

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support to pupils with Autism, helping them to engage in their learning environment and reach their full potential.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday role, and you must be open to working with SEN.

Requirements:– Previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant, including working with SEN

– A passion for helping children learn

– Ability to use own initiative and be proactive in helping pupils

– Dedication and commitment to ensuring pupil success

– Ability to adapt activities to meet individual pupil needs

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

– Provide 1:1 support to pupils with SEN (Autism)

– Assist teachers in the delivery of lessons

– Engage with pupils and encourage them to participate in learning activities

– Facilitate and encourage communication between teachers and pupils

– Set achievable goals and create a positive learning environment

– Liaise with parents and carers regarding the progress of pupils
