Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: Camberwell
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

We are seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant passionate about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs and learning difficulties. This role is ideal for someone caring, kind, and committed to helping children achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities:

• Providing 1:1 support to an autistic child in a Year 4 class
• Assisting the class teacher
• Supporting children of all primary school ages
• Supervising children during break time
• Managing challenging behaviour with confidence and resilience
• Building relationships with parents and the school community
• Demonstrating a positive and enthusiastic attitude to motivate children in their learning

Requirements:

• Enthusiastic about working with children and supporting young people
• Ability to work well as a team both in the classroom and across the school
• Confident and diligent in behaviour management and resilient in challenging situations
• Demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to motivate children in their learning
