The Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to an Autistic child in a Year 3 class. In addition to supporting SEN children, you will also assist the class teacher, support the entire class when needed, and foster positive relationships with parents. Duties will include managing challenging behaviors and ensuring the well-being of children during break times.

Requirements:

• Passion for working in education and supporting children with special needs/learning difficulties
• Caring and kind demeanor
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Willingness to undertake CPD courses and teacher training
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
