Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated individual who is committed to supporting the educational journey of children with special needs. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with an Autistic child in a Year 5 class, providing 1:1 support to facilitate their learning and development.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to children, particularly those with Autism and Speech and Language needs.
• Assist the class teacher with daily tasks and lesson planning.
• Support the entire class as needed, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
• Care for children during break times.
• Manage challenging behavior in a positive and effective manner.
• Foster strong relationships with parents and caregivers.
