ORTUS RECRUITMENT is excited to announce the opportunity for a resilient and proactive individual to take on the fulfilling role of Year 4 SLCN Teaching Assistant in a mainstream Primary school in Ealing – a vibrant area filled with an abundance of shops, cafes, restaurants and transportation links including Ealing Broadway station, giving you access to the Elizabeth line, District Line and Central line.

The role:

You will be responsible for providing support to children with speech and language difficulties, helping them to develop their communication skills. You will be working with children aged 5-11 with a range of difficulties including language delay, speech impediments, and dyslexia. You will be providing support in a range of environments, including one-to-one, small group and whole class settings.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an ability to develop positive relationships with children, parents and staff. You must be patient, understanding and have a good understanding of the complexities of speech and language disorders.
