A School located in Richmond are looking for an individual who is passionate about helping children who are having speech and language difficulties, and are ready to support them to make progress in their academic studies. If you apply for this role you will be specifically working with a student in a year 3 class, who has difficulty with their speech and language skills. You will be working with them in and out of the classroom, supporting them with areas they are struggling with, and finding ways to help them engage in the lessons. If accepted for this role you will be listening to their difficulties and giving them suitable advice on how to deal with their problems.

What will your job include ?
- Helping students with their spelling and pronunciation of words they have difficulty with.
- Keeping record of the progress students are making, highlighting areas where they need to improve
- Find creative ways to teach, helping the students to stay engaged.
- Read to the children, and get them to read to you
- Supporting students during break and lunch – supporting their emotional, physical and social needs.
- Helping teachers plan lessons, handing out worksheets and preparing equipment for the lesson.
