Ortus Recruitment are working on behalf of a primary school, based in the London Borough of Kingston, who require a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant to support a primary pupil in Year 3 with speech and communication, this would be for the mornings of each day.

The successful applicant will work as a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant supporting pupils with language and communication difficulties. The school are only considering graduates who have gained experience in an education setting supporting behavioural, emotional and social needs.

The school are looking for a Speech & Language Teaching Assistants with the knowledge and experience to assist pupils with understanding spoken language, speech sound pronunciation, speech sound production, attention and listening and improving social skills.

Working with primary pupils as a Speech & Language Teaching Assistant is invaluable to building the experience necessary for an MSc in Speech & Language Therapy and/or further professional qualifications.
