The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the teaching staff, assisting with the day-to-day duties of the classroom, and working with individual students.

The Supply Teaching Assistant will have experience working with students in a classroom environment, have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision.

Main Responsibilities:

• Be reliable, flexible and proactive
• Assist class teacher with behaviour management and playtime duty
• Confidently lead 1:1 and small group interventions i.e. phonics, numeracy and literacy
• Collaborating with SLT, Assistant Teachers and School Administrators to make sure students are safe
• Encourage participation from SEN pupils and support them where necessary
