Key Responsibilities:

• Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
• Provide individualized and small group support to students who require additional assistance.
• Assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting a positive learning environment.
• Support students’ social and emotional development.
• Prepare and organize learning materials and classroom resources.
• Help with the assessment and documentation of students’ progress.
• Assist students with special educational needs (SEN) and help implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Supervise students during break times, school outings, and other activities as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
