Teaching Assistant

Position Overview:
The school is seeking for an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our teachers and ensuring the overall well-being and academic progress of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may require additional assistance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and a love for learning.
- Support the teacher in managing classroom behaviour and promoting a respectful and supportive atmosphere.
- Contribute to the planning and organization of school events, trips, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
- A relevant qualification in education or a related field.
- Familiarity with a range of teaching strategies and the ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children.
