Teaching Assistant – Carshalton Beeches

Ortus Recruitment are working with a primary school in Carshalton Beeches who are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately.

The school are looking for someone who is committed to a full-time position working with a pupil with undiagnosed ASC with some sensory needs. Your role will involve taking the pupil out of the classroom to work 1:1 on key subjects including numeracy and literacy.

A strong academic background is essential, and previous experience working with children with SEN is desirable.

The ideal candidate:

– Experience working with children of the primary age range

– Experience working with SEN

– Strong academic background

– Available full-time and committed to long-term role

– Patient, caring and enthusiastic

– Willing to help the teacher plan and execute engaging lessons

You must:

– Have a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to process an application

– Hold right to work in the UK

– Provide recent and relevant references
