Ortus Recruitment is looking for a Cache Level 3 Learning Support Assistant to join an inclusive primary school in the heart of Haringey. The candidate will be committed to providing a supportive and enriching learning environment. Our dedicated team of educators is passionate about nurturing the potential of every child, with a particular focus on those who have SEN within a mainstream primary school.

Role description:

• Be able to foster a nurturing environment to ensure effective social, emotional, and educational development.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and to be able to devise and deliver person centred learning and care.
• Monitor and record progress of the students report to the school’s SEN team and to meet targets.
• Be able to build a strong rapport with the students

Requirements:

• CACHE Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Education. (If you do not have a CACHE Level 3 you can still Apply)
• Proven experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
• Strong understanding of the needs and challenges faced by SEN students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
