Role: Year 3, One-to-One TA, Mainstream Primary School, Long term

Timings: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday

Ortus Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil diagnosed with low-functioning autism, with no behavioural challenges. This role is based at a well-connected mainstream primary school in the vibrant area of Haringey, just a 5-minute walk from the nearest station, offering easy access via excellent transport links. The school is located near a variety of great shops and restaurants, providing a lively and dynamic environment.

The school’s team is highly supportive and eager to welcome new talent who are enthusiastic about developing their careers within the school.

Requirements:

• Experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• A degree in Psychology, Law, Educational Studies, Drama, or a related field (preferred)
• Enthusiastic and proactive attitude
• 3-6 months of experience working in a primary school
• Possession of a DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
