We are excited to offer an opportunity for a knowledgeable and efficient individual to join our partnered primary school as a Teaching Assistant. This role is perfect for both experienced Teaching Assistants and graduates who want to gain valuable first-hand experience supporting children in a mainstream school.
We are keen to hear from candidates who have previous experience working with pupils who have a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), or SLCN (Speech, Language & Communication Needs).
Role Overview
Successful candidates will work 1:1 with selected students and support small groups both in mainstream classes. You will work closely with teachers to differentiate resources, set, and monitor targets. Being part of the team, you’ll have the chance to positively transform the lives of our students and contribute to the local community.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience working with children/young people is preferable but not essential.
- Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy.
- A passion for personal learning, development, and a sincere commitment to our values.
- Dedication to supporting pupils with special educational needs, with a focus on ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or SLCN.
