We are working with a reputable mainstream primary school in the Lambeth Borough who are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work closely with children and support a pupil with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) on a 1:1 basis.

About the Role:

• Position: Full-time Teaching Assistant
• Support Focus: Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with ASD
• Start Date: Immediate start available
• Salary: £85 – £105 per day (PAYE)
• Location: Lambeth, London

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside a supportive and experienced staff team, with a focus on helping the child achieve their full potential in both academic and social development. You will assist with class activities, provide tailored support to the pupil, and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience supporting children in an educational setting (ideally with ASD experience, but not essential)
• A passion for working with children and helping them succeed
• Ability to be flexible, patient, and understanding to meet the needs of the pupil
• Excellent communication skills to work closely with teachers, staff, and parents
• An engaging and proactive approach to working with children
