Ortus Recruitment is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in Hounslow. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of students and supporting their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with SEN such as ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
• Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, resource management, and classroom organisation.
• Support students in accessing the curriculum, encouraging engagement and participation in lessons.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents when necessary.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children in a school setting is highly desirable.
• Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly in EYFS, KS1, or KS2, is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for education and helping children achieve their full potential.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
• Flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
