Teaching Assistant
Ortus Recruitment is working with a partner primary school in West Norwood to find a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is committed to supporting pupils’ learning, progress, and overall development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for the learning and achievements of pupils, promoting good progress and positive outcomes for all.
- Set high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils, encouraging them to reach their full potential.
- Contribute positively to the wider life of the school, actively supporting the school’s vision and ethos.
- Build strong, nurturing relationships with pupils and the wider school community, promoting an inclusive and supportive environment.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have excellent, up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of how pupils learn, with the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
- Possess a passion for supporting pupils’ educational achievements and an understanding of the importance of effective behaviour management.
- Make a positive contribution to the wider school community, supporting the school’s mission and values.
