Ortus Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join the SEN provision at a vibrant mainstream primary school based in Brixton. The role offers the chance to work with children with SEN and make a significant impact on their educational development.

As a TA supporting children with SEN provision, you will require techniques to support the learning and progress of each child. You will work collaboratively within a committed and professional team, focused on providing a nurturing and stimulating environments for all children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality support for children with SEN.
• Work alongside a dynamic team to deliver engaging and structured learning activities tailored to the individual needs of the children.
• Foster an inclusive, caring, and supportive environment that encourages the personal development of every child.
• Prioritise the safety, welfare, and educational progress of the children in your care.

What We Are Looking For:

• A genuine passion for working with children and the drive to inspire and motivate them to reach their full potential.
• Strong organisational skills and enthusiasm for supporting the planning and implementation of structured learning activities.
• A responsible and reliable approach to maintaining a safe and supportive environment, adhering to school policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues, parents, and other professionals.

Desirable Experience:

While prior experience working with children with SEN is advantageous, it is not essential.
